Event app Myia

WujiGrid is exclusive partner of Myia Systems. Myia is a platform for event organizers. It is SaaS cloud application running on Microsoft Azure. The whole platform consists of 3 components:

Mobile application: This is a mobile app for Android, iOS, WindowsPhone and Windows 10 UWP. It is implemented with Cordova and Angular and extended with a number of native modules. We also deliver UX consulting services and design to Myia Systems.

Web application: This is SPA implemented in Angular. It communicates with ASP.Net WebAPI using RESTfull API.

Server: Highly scalable server is implemented with .NET/C# and running in MS Azure. It uses APIApps, table storage, BLOB storage, queues, web jobs, SQL Server, notification hubs, and cognitive API.

OEE & Energy Monitoring

WujiGrid is a long-term partner of Sidat, leader in industrial automation in the Czech Republic. WujiGrid has implemented a number of applications running on top of the factory automation level.

OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness) and Energy monitoring is a system that collects data from various factory devices and sensors and provides the operators with overview of the production efficiency, alarms, consumption levels, etc. The application displays real-time data, provides comprehensive reports and it allows for extensive configuration of both automatic and manual data collection points.

This is a multi-tier distributed industrial application implemented in .NET/C# running on top of SQL Server. It has Web-based UI implemented partially in ASP.NET and as SPA in Angular.

We have implemented a number of interfaces to a number of third-party systems (e.g. historians) and specialized OPC communication layer.

Document Management

WujiGrid has been part of larger consortium delivering a specialized document management system to a major energy company in the Czech Republic. The system was designed to handle highly sensitive material. It was operated under strict security measures. The whole project covered all areas including architecture and design of the system, building the secure IT infrastructure, application design, security policy, and training.

Our task was to create functional specifications of document management system based on Sharepoint 2010 that, included a number of customizations and extensions for highly granular setting of data access permission and auditing. We were also leading the development project.

Email Analytics

The client is an expert in e-commerce systems and services. They were building a new e-mail analytics tool. They needed help with the data warehousing part. We have designed and implemented a new data warehouse and ETL with incremental loading.

The design reflects the requirement to operate in highly scalable multi-tenant environment on MS Azure.

Time Tracking System

Our client is a British digital agency that has built a .NET based application for time tracking of for employees of agencies.

Our client wanted to utilize our experience with cloud based systems. The goal was to work on architecture changes to make the app multi-tenant and migrate it to MS Azure. We have quickly implemented the migration of the critical parts from SQL Server to Azure BLOB storage and proposed a number of other changes that made the whole app scalable and well performing.

IT strategy for Impact Hub

Impact Hub has initiated an internal initiative to solve this problem. WujiGrid was asked to bring their expertise into the Impact Hub Technology Strategy.

Our goal was to survey technical infrastructure used in the Impact Hubs across the world, describe the processes supported by the technical infrastructure, identify the bottle necks in the current systems. As a next step we have provided a set of recommendations for Hubs of various sizes and development stages.

Finally, WujiGrid supported Impact Hub Company (with is the executive body of the network) in defining the Technology Strategy for the network.

Monitoring of Shaft Production

WujiGrid is a long-term partner of Sidat, leader in industrial automation in the Czech Republic. WujiGrid has implemented a number of applications running on top of the factory automation level.

This app collects data about production conditions of each shaft – e.g. temperature, pressure for each operation. The data is read by the process automation devices and stored in database. After the product has been finished, the data is moved to an archive.

We have implemented .NET/C# application connected to 2 MS SQL databases. A Windows Server service is responsible for transferring data from the runtime DB to the archive DB. SPA web application implemented in Angular allows for monitoring of the production conditions. It also provides powerful search in the archive, data export and reports.

Debtor and Loan System Maintenance

AdIn is a law company that works for a major Czech bank. It receives unsettled loans. Contacts debtors and negotiates settling the loans.

It has a custom-built application that communicates with the bank systems and exchanges information about the unsettled debts, negotiations, updated conditions, current balances, etc.

WujiGrid provides continuous monitoring of the application and the communication channel as well as support. We pay particular attention to securing the system and data protection because the system contains personal data.

Smart Watch app for Alzheimer's patients

AliceHelp is a non-profit organization that develops technical devices for patients with Alzheimer's decease.

WujiGrid develops applications for smart watch that reminds the patients about important events. The apps are developed for Android Watch which has been chosen as the most affordable platform. We also provide UX and UI design, which must be extremely simple because the patients typically have no experience with mobile devices. Moreover, any unexpected situation or application behavior (e.g. a screen that they did not expect) causes the patients additional stress that has negative consequences for their health status.
